C. Chris Hyland — PhD Candidate in Finance, University of Oxford
I’m a PhD (DPhil) candidate in Finance at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School and a member of the Oxford-Man Institute of Quantitative Finance. My work focuses on macro-finance, with interests in monetary economics, international macroeconomics, fiscal–monetary interactions and asset pricing. I previously completed the MPhil in Economics at Oxford and undergraduate studies in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics at the University of Sydney.
I am currently a PhD intern at the Bank of England in the International Directorate. I have previous experience at SPX Capital (Macro hedge fund), Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Kiel Institute for the World Economy and Insurance Australia Group.
